Heat wave conditions are likely to prevail at isolated places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam from April 14 to 18, Meteorological Centre said on Friday.
In a daily weather report here, it said there will be a rise in maximum temperatures by 2 degree Celsius at isolated places in Yanam, South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and
Rayalaseema on Friday. The same situation would prevail in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema on Saturday and Sunday.
The report said light to moderate rain is likely at one or two places in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam while dry weather is likely in South Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema from Friday to Sunday. The highest maximum temperature of 42.7 degree Celsius was recorded at Kurnool in the plains of the state on Thursday.
