District Collector Jitesh V Patil on Sunday directed the enumerators to conduct the comprehensive household survey meticulously, ensuring that no one is missed. With the commencement of the survey on Sunday, the Collector visited the 11th ward in the Palwancha Municipality area and inspected the ongoing survey. He interacted with the enumerators to check if there were any difficulties in data collection and advised them to bring any issues to the attention of the supervisors and special officers if required.
During this visit, the Collector mentioned that as part of the survey, sticker fixing at each household was completed between November 6 and 8. From Saturday onward, details related to social, economic, education, employment, political, and caste information would be collected from each family using a government-prescribed form. He emphasised that on the second day of the survey, enumerators should be extremely careful to avoid any mistakes while recording the data. The survey required collecting details on more than 57 different aspects. He also stressed that each block should have a dedicated enumerator, and every effort should be made to ensure that the survey is conducted carefully. Special officers at all levels should be on the ground to address any issues and bring them to their attention.
