Healthcare Reforms Doctors Association (HRDA) has written a letter to Telangana Health Secretary Murtaza Rizvi, urging the immediate implementation of an interim suspension order of G.O.Rt.No.603, which pertains to the appointment of Director of Medical Education (DME), issued by the High Court of Telangana.
The letter highlighted that the court order states that the appointment of the 3rd respondent as per G.O.Rt.No.603, dated 3.07.2017, is contrary to Rule 10(h) of the Telangana State and Subordinate Services Rules, 1996, and is also contrary to the principle decided by the Division Bench of the court in its order dated 20.12.2017 passed in W.P.No.33216 and 33328 of 2016. The court ordered an interim suspension of the operation of G.O.Rt.No.603, dated 03.07.2017, and directed respondents No.1 and 2 to fill up the said post strictly in accordance with the law.
The HRDA is now urging the authorities to implement the court’s order immediately and fill the said post in accordance with the law. The association has pointed out that the interim suspension order bars the in-charge DME from discharging his functions.
The HRDA has requested the Secretary, Dept of HM&FW Telangana, to take immediate action and ensure that the court’s order is implemented without any delay.
