Hyd-based firm connects startups with investors

City-based Vashista Angels is connecting start-ups with investors and has built a network of 200 start-ups so far.


The firm has also been incorporated as a Section-8 company as a non-profit organisation. Speaking of the firm’s progress, Siva Peddibhotla, Mentor & Co-founder said, “It is a pleasure to announce that we have already built a network of over 200 startup companies and about 10 Angel Investors in our platform.”


The platform allows startups seeking funds register themselves as network members and submit a fund requirement proposal. Based on the requirements the firm approaches High Networth Individuals, NRIs, PIOs and companies with surplus funds to register on the platform as investors.


Following the registerations, investment advisors from Vasishta Angels analyse the information of the company and will do investment analysis of the company and prepare an investment scorecard individually. If the average investment score of the firm is above cut-off score, then the shortlisted company -proposal is moved to In-house Equity Research Department. Research analysts at Vashishta will analyse the company and prepare an Equity Research Report – Flyer and disclose the investment score of all the Advisors done for shortlisting, in their report and copy of it will be given to respective startup – company.
