Hyd Collector directs officials for smooth conduct of SSC exams

Hyderabad District Collector Anudeep Durishetty has instructed officials to ensure smooth arrangements for the Class 10 SSC public exams.
At a review meeting with officials from education, revenue, police, medical, and postal departments on Saturday, he stated that 77,701 students will appear for the exams from March 21 to April 4 at 358 centres from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The Collector noted that each centre will have sitting squads, chief superintendents and departmental officers, with route officers assigned to 28 routes. Officials will receive training and the use of mobile phones and electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited. Xerox centres near exam venues must remain closed during exam hours.
Anudeep directed officials to ensure proper sanitation, drinking water and uninterrupted power supply. Question papers will be transported in government vehicles with police escort. Two police constables will be stationed at each centre to manage security and traffic.
Students can bring only admit cards, hall tickets, pens and papers. CCTV cameras must be monitored regularly and strict measures will prevent malpractice. ORS packets should be available in first-aid kits and ASHA workers will be present.
Special buses have been arranged for students. The Collector emphasised that students must reach the centres on time, and all measures should be taken for a fair exam process.
The meeting was attended by DRO E Venkatachari, DEO R Rohini, DMHO Dr Venkat Reddy, Additional DCP Ravinder Reddy, Power ADE Prarthana, Deputy RM Bheem Reddy, Supervisor Zaheeruddin, along with other officials and staff.
