Hyd Collector suspends Marredpally tahsildar

Hyderabad Collector Anudeep Durishetty on Thursday suspended Marredpally tahsildar Padma Sundari and three other staff members for negligence of duties.
Other officials suspended include Girdawar (SA), P Prasanna Lakshmi and record assistant S Ravi. Durishetty conducted a surprise inspection at Marredpally tahsildar’s office and asked the staff to work with accountability and responsibility.  
He said that action will be taken against those who neglect their duties. He checked various documents and the attendance register at the office and ordered the staff to check the inward register and put a date stamp on the application and hand it over to the concerned section. The concerned sections have been directed to work and resolve the applications from time to time without pending. They were advised to update all registers from time to time.
The Collector further instructed the staff to dispose of reports related to the tahsildar office, Prajavani, Praja Darbar, Lok Ayukta, Human Rights Commission, court case registers and dispose of the reports in the prescribed manner.
