Telangana State government is transparent in dealing with every issue of public. The name of developed state means looking after mosquitoes, dog bites and sewerage issues equally. “The last few days we have noticed that Super Star Rajinikanth and actress Laya are comparing the city with Los Angeles,” said Minister KT Rama Rao, while inaugurating Rs 8.54 crore Vaikunta Dhamam in Begumpet.
“Begumpet Vaikunta Dhamam was built with more advanced facilities than Jubilee Hills Mahaprasthanam. He said that those who have come to visit from all over the country are surprised to see the development of Hyderabad as a cosmopolitan city in nine years.
He said that every year new roads, flyovers, parks and bridges are being established and advanced facilities are being provided to the people.
A donor Narsimha Reddy donated two funeral vehicles worth Rs 45 lakh. He said that this cemetery has rooms like Vaikunta Dhamam, Swarga Dhamam, Mukti Dhamam, as well as a pooja room, lockers and bathrooms. He said that a cafeteria has been set up for those who participated in the funeral to relax. In addition to these, 31 works of sewage treatment plants will be completed by August 31.
The minister said that one lakh double bedroom houses will be distributed in the city soon. According to the growing population of the city, efforts are being made to provide bus bays, electric vehicles, metro to the airport, Vaikunta Dhamams for all religions and other infrastructure facilities.
The minister said that as directed by the Chief Minister KCR, the work should be carried out to meet the needs of the people. He said that for the development of the canals, works have been taken up with Rs 985 crore. In addition, Rs 560 crore has been given to the people of the flooded areas in the past, but the Central government has not given even a single penny. He said that the canals and drainage system still needs to be developed.
Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that Vaikunta Dhamam will be useful for 20 surrounding villages. He informed that the problems of the people of Shyamlal, Vaddera Basti and Prakash Nagar have been solved. He said that the Telangana government is working faster in infrastructure development than any other government in 32 years.
