Hyderabadi presents pearl necklace to Ram temple

A Hyderabad resident, Maddula Venkatadas, made a pearl necklace for Lord Ram in Ayodhya, which he will present on January 22. Nine artisans worked for the gaja mala for 9 days and the weight is about 4 ½ kg.
Venkatadas, owner of Pravala Pearls N Gems, said that the necklace is 9 feet long and will be worn by the five-foot Bala Rama idol in Ayodhya and it will be presented by Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja Chinna Jeeyar Swami. “We have embedded fragrances of sandals in pearls, which always spread in the sanctum,” he added.
