‘HYDRAA demolishes 18 illegal structures, reclaims 43.94 acres of land’

The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has demolished a total of 18 illegal structures and protected 43.94 acres of land within the Outer Ring Road (ORR) limits from June 2024.
The HYDRAA submitted a detailed report to the State government. In the report, It mentioned that on June 27, around the encroachment of the park at the Filmnagar co-operative society, the authority recovered 0.16 acres.
The HYDRAA recovered 0.2 acres in Mansoorabad, 0.06 acres at MP, MLA Colony, 1.04 acres at Mithila Nagar, 5 acres at Film Nagar, 0.01 acres at Gajularamaram, 1.1 acres at Gajularamaram, 0.5 acres at Road no. 10 Jubilee Hills,  0.01 acres at Ameerpet, 0.18 acres at Jubilee Hills,
HYDRAA report said that A aocal leader of BRS party Ratnakaram Sai Raju encroached Chintal lake by erecting temporary sheds in 3.5 acres, but the HYDRAA demolished the illegal structures on August 6.
The report mentioned that the HYDRAA recovered 12 acres at Rajendra Nagar in Bhumruq Dowla lake on August 10. Where Bahadurpura MLA Mohmad Mubeen’s building was demolished and MLC Mirza Rahmat Beig building was demolished.
The HYDRAA saved 0.16 acres of land at Erla Cheruvu in Chanda Nagar, 0.29 acres at Errakunta in Bachupally, 0.03 acres at Boduppal was recovered from the encroachments.
The report mentioned that HYDRAA recovered 15.25 acres at Gandipet from a Congress party leader Pallam Raju’s brother Pallam Anand’s structure, Kaveriseeds owner GV Bhaskar Rao’s structure,
BJP contested MLA from Manthani constituency Sunil Rddy and Pro Kabaddi owner Srinivas’s wife Anupama.
The report said that on August 28, the HYDRAA demolished Actor Nagarjuna’s N Convention at Thummidikunta lake in Madhapur and saved 4.9 acres of land at Thummidikunta lake.
