Countering the criticism of the BRS, the BJP and the AIMIM regarding HYDRAA, the Congress intensified its counter-attack on the opposition.
Kisan Congress Vice-President M. Kodanda Reddy said that the BRS, the BJP and the AIMIM have been behaving in a surprising manner regarding HYDRAA.
He said the opposition is behaving irresponsibly and their criticism is intended to weaken the CM’s decisive actions. Opposition parties are trying to trouble the CM using HYDRAA, he added.
The TPCC’s official spokesperson, Gnana Sunder, said that no one can damage Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s self-confidence. HYDRAA has public support and the government should expand it to the entire state. During BRS rule, officials listened to BRS leaders and so BRS leaders acquired fake title deeds, he said.
TPCC spokesperson Bhavani Reddy said that satellite surveys have proved that Palla Rajeshwar Reddy grabbed lake land. Palla constructed his Anurag University in Nadam Cheruvu with police protection, he said.
Former Minister Malla Reddy destroyed the Suraram Lake and now the lake is not even visible. The government will demolish all illegal buildings, he said.
Fisheries Corporation Chairman Mettu Sai Kumar said fishermen depend on tanks and lakes.
