TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday, launched the P4 (Public Private People Partnership) model in Nimmakuru village in Krishna district. On the occasion of the 28th death anniversary of TDP founder NT Rama Rao, Chandrababu introduced the P4 Model, emphasising that this model stands in contrast to the perceived exploitation by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government.
Chandrababu highlighted the significance of implementing sustainable models to generate wealth, allowing for the construction of roads, electricity generation, and the establishment of colleges in the state. He outlined a plan where a portion of the wealth generated would be distributed to the poor, and he would educate them on multiplying their resources to enjoy the wealth they generate.
Addressing the gathering, he urged individuals who have migrated from the village and achieved prominent positions to offer guidance to one family each, envisioning a poverty-free scenario.
Chandrababu disclosed that he has designated Nimmakuru and NaravaripallI as a pilot project for proof of concept. If successful, he announced plans to extend this model across the state. The NTR Memorial Trust will play the role of facilitator, with local villagers taking charge of management. He appealed to those who benefitted during his and NTR’s tenure to contribute their efforts in guiding and assisting the people in the village.
Stating that eradicating poverty is his life’s ambition, Chandrababu mentioned that a name for the P4 model will be finalized. He emphasized periodic exploration of ways to increase wealth every five years, with the government acting as a regulator in the P4 model.
