‘I wasn’t very confident about pulling off the role in Buddy’

Prisha Singh is slated to make her Tollywood debut as one of the leading ladies in the upcoming Telugu film Buddy, which stars Allu Sirish. The actress will play an air hostess in the film, directed by Sam Anton.
Prisha reflects on how she got the part, saying that the producers discovered her through her portfolio images. Prisha was initially shocked by the offer and says, “I wasn’t very confident about pulling off the role because it required a different personality and a pattern of exploits and doings. I had to prepare carefully, examining several flight hostesses, their body language, how they walk and communicate and so on. The filmmaker also gave some allusions, which helped me better grasp the role.”
Prisha sees her experience in Tollywood as enlightening and she hopes to take on impactful roles that will allow her to exhibit her acting skills. She is an avid nature photographer in addition to her acting career. She just shared a series of Instagram photographs from a nature adventure. Prisha, a wildlife fanatic, enjoys travelling on safaris and documenting moments in nature. She has taken part in various wildlife trips.
“I adore photographing flora and fauna and safaris are one of my passions. For me, photography is more than just catching animals and wildlife; it’s about capturing moments and feelings in their purest form,” explains Prisha. “Looking at such images makes me nostalgic, gives me a sense of fulfillment and meaningful experience.”
Her wilderness travels have given her a greater respect for nature’s beauties. “Every capture has an interesting story to tell,” she says, adding that wildlife photography has improved her acting abilities. “It has helped me embrace the camera more.”
