‘I will not be surprised if Harom Hara tops the list of action movies’

Actor Sudheer Babu’s Harom Hara hit theatres on June 14 (yesterday) and the film, directed by Gnanasagar Dwaraka, is being well-appreciated by the audience.
The transition from romantic comedy to high-octane action may have caught many by surprise, but for Sudheer Babu, it was an exhilarating challenge embraced with open arms.
In a candid conversation, Telugu film star Sudheer Babu opens up about Harom Hara, as they are expecting more numbers this weekend: “Harom Hara is a very authentic commercial movie. The audience gets the feeling of seeing a new world. Action scenes came out very well. I was always told by Superstar Krishna to do action films and this movie has it all. There is commercialism in the story itself. The backdrop is very fresh and I feel that no movie has come out in Telugu with such a backdrop. In this, my character has dialogue mannerism. The dialogue ‘Inka seppedem ledu.. sesede’ occurs at many places in the movie.”
One of the unique aspects of the film is its protagonist, a gunsmith with a penchant for crafting weapons. Describing Harom Hara as an “authentic commercial movie,” he emphasised the importance of creating a fresh and immersive experience for the audience. With action sequences that push the boundaries of Telugu cinema, the actor is confident that the film will resonate with action lovers and casual moviegoers alike.
The film is directed by Sehari fame Dwaraka and to everyone’s surprise, Sudheer had actually not watched Sehari before signing this project. He said that he went by the narration by the director. He reminisced, “When Dwaraka approached me, I thought he would narrate a love story, but when I heard this, I was completely shocked. It is the one I watched, Sehari. I loved the way Sehari was made and I told him I would do this film without even giving any other thoughts.”
Set against the backdrop of the 1980s, Harom Hara brings a sense of authenticity to the screen. Drawing inspiration from real-life incidents of the era, the film transports audiences to a world filled with intrigue and suspense. “When the director wrote this story, he took inspiration from some incidents from the 1980s. The hero is a lab assistant. It makes sense to see that he had the knowledge to make guns in those days. 80’s back drop brought authenticity,” he added.
Sudheer Babu asserted that, with its technical brilliance and gripping storyline, Harom Hara is poised to make a lasting impact on audiences. “Harom Hara is among the top ten action movies released in Telugu. I will not be surprised if it makes the top 5 list. Action lovers will love it,” he expressed. Not just action; Sudheer Babu says that this movie has a layer of emotion that will resonate with the audience. The title is also named that way. Having become the highest budget in Sudheer Babu’s career, this movie is so far gaining positive reviews and the actor hopes this movie will have a big impact in Telugu cinema.
