IAF rescues 5 people from floodwater

The Indian Air Force (IAF) personnel rescued five people when their car got stuck in flood water near Narayanapuram Kadda Maisamma temple in Velerupadu mandal on Thursday.
The five individuals were traveling in a car which became stranded in the swirling flood waters and began to be washed away. Eluru MP Putta Mahesh Kumar was informed about the incident and promptly contacted the relevant officials.
An IAF helicopter was dispatched to the location. The IAF personnel successfully rescued five people, including Gaddam Sai Kumar, Jagadish, Kundan Kumar, Tingavarapu Jyothi, and the car driver Rama Rao, from the flood waters.
Sources reported that breaches developed in the Peddavagu stream at Gummadavelli village in Aswaraopeta mandal, Telangana. The flood water inundated several villages, including Alluri Nagar, Madhavaram, Reddygudem, Vontibanda, and Kammarigude. Officials are currently making arrangements to evacuate the villagers to safer locations.
