MAD, produced by Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, will be released in theatres on October 6. Narne Nithin, Sangeeth Shoban, and Ram Nithin are joined by Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananthika Sanilkumar and Gopikaa Udyan to headline this college campus comedy.

At an event on Tuesday, producer S Naga Vamsi promised that MAD will leave the audience in splits. “If anyone from the audience found MAD a lesser comedy compared with Jathi Ratnalu, we will refund their ticket amount,”said the producer, known for films like Bheemla Nayak. The producer assured everyone that there is nothing vulgar about the comedy. “If, on the release day, anybody finds even a single line crass, they can question me,” Naga Vamsi said.

Meanwhile, Narne Nithin, who is Jr NTR’s brother-in-law shared, “It was my sister Haarika who asked me to check out Nithin’s profile. I liked him. Tarak garu didn’t say anything in particular before the start of this film. He just asked me to do a good film with Nithin,” Naga Vamsi revealed. Nithin later added that there is so much to learn from his ‘bava’. “I have always wanted to become an actor. Even as a child, I had that strong desire. After my sister’s marriage, that desire only became intense. I am glad that I am debuting with a movie like MAD,” he said.

“This is a mad fun film that is definitely not about the dreams and aspirations of Engineering undergrads. This is a pure entertainer, a no-holds-barred one at that,” said director Kalyan Shankar. “I am hoping that MAD will bring me commercial success and also respect. The three male besties will make you laugh and also move you. You will be reminded of your best friend after you watch MAD. You will want to call him or her as you walk out of the theatre.”

The makers will hold early paid premiers from October 3 in cities like Hyderabad if the content is ready by then.
