Senior Congress leader T. Jagga Reddy said that he will stage a dharna in front of former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s residence or farmhouse if BRS leader T. Harish Rao stages a dharna in front of Rahul Gandhi’s residence in New Delhi. He also asked Harish to explain with what face he will go to New Delhi.
“I will stage a dharna wherever KCR stays. I will stage a dharna in front of KCR’s house to protest against his cheating. I will stage my dharna on the day Harish starts his dharna in front of Rahul Gandhi’s residence. Everybody knows where Rahul is staying but there is no clarity about where KCR is staying,” Jagga Reddy said. Speaking to the media at the Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, Jagga Reddy asked Harish to reveal who his scriptwriter was.
“Did Harish suddenly remember after nine and a half years that KCR has a farmer’s heart? Where was that heart when the police attacked the farmers of Mallanna Sagar? Did KCR keep his heart in the fridge when the police handcuffed Khammam farmers? Harish and KCR did not come to Sangareddy when I said that I would block KCR if he came to Sangareddy,” Jagga Reddy said.
“In Congress, everybody is a ‘thopu’ and the Congress has special weapons in each constituency. Congress leaders stood against the tide,” he said. “KTR can’t block Congress leaders,” he added.
Jagga Reddy also challenged Harish to come for a debate on the farm loan waiver scheme. He said that he would bring Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for a debate if Harish Rao brings KCR.
“I will convince Revanth to come for an open debate. Does Harish have the capability to bring KCR for a debate? We are ready to come to Siddipet if Harish does not want to take part in a debate in Hyderabad,” he said.
Jagga Reddy said the government itself had said that some farmers did not get their loans waived due to technical issues. However, Harish has been spreading lies about the loan waiver scheme, Jagga Reddy said and added that KCR bankrupted Telangana.
