B Srinivasa Rao, State Project Director of Samgara Shiksha, has said that innovative ideas should be created for the development of the government schools in order to enhance the educational development of the children from childhood, and that they will be implemented across the State. He further said that for this, planning should be done at the field-level and the funds should be utilised. Srinivasa Rao addressed the three-day workshop on Annual Work Plan and Budget in Vijayawada on Wednesday.
He said that in the next three years, foundation schools should be developed and students and teachers should be trained. As interaction with parents was a must to identify learning differences among students, he asked parents’ committees to participate in school-level planning. The officials were instructed to create awareness on the things learnt through the workshop at the district and mandal-level as well and prepare the necessary training manuals.
