Chief Minister Revanth Reddy appealed to Union Home Minister Amit Shah to increase the number of IPS officers in the state. The Chief Minister requested the Union Home Minister to increase the number of IPS officers allotted to TS in tune with the rise in the number of districts for setting up Narcotic Drug Control Bureaus in all districts.
The CM also discussed with Amit Shah about issues regarding the AP Reorganisation Act. Reacting to it, Amit Shah said that he would talk to the Chief Secretaries of the two Telugu states. Telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari was also present. Earlier, the CM, Revanth Reddy, and Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy met Union Jal Shakthi Minister Gajendra Singh Shekawath along with the CS, Santhi Kumari. The CM appealed to the Jal Shakthi Minister to give national project status to the Palamuru–Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme project and submitted a memorandum to the Jal Shakthi Minister regarding this. The CM also met Union Urban Development Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and discussed issues related to Urban Development. CS Santhi Kumari and HMDA Joint Director Amrapali accompanied the CM
