Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy declared that India will not hesitate to retaliate with full force if its sovereignty is challenged, stating that the Indian armed forces are capable of wiping Pakistan off the map before sunrise.
He was addressing a massive National Unity Rally held on Thursday, which began at the secretariat and concluded at the Indira Gandhi statue in Hyderabad.
“The whole world has witnessed the strength of India’s armed forces through Operation Sindoor. If India tells its Army, there will be no Pakistan on the map tomorrow. Our brave soldiers have that might,” Revanth thundered, as the crowd raised slogans supporting the armed forces.
He said the rally was a message from Telangana to the soldiers of the nation — that the people are one and stand firmly behind them in the fight against terrorism. “India is a peace-loving country. We won our freedom through Mahatma Gandhi’s non-violent struggle. Pakistan too was born through that. But let no one mistake our desire for peace as weakness,” he said.
Revanth warned that India will not tolerate any attempt to destabilise it. “Terrorists and their sponsors who think they can exploit our restraint will pay a heavy price. This is our warning,” he said.
Reiterating that national security must remain above politics, the Chief Minister said, “We may differ in ideologies, but when it comes to the country, we are one. All 140 crore Indians are united in this war against Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.”
He revealed that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and senior leader Rahul Gandhi had met Prime Minister Modi and assured full support to the Centre. “The Congress stands solidly with the Indian Army in its mission to eliminate terror,” Revanth added.
“We are for peace. But if our peaceful nature is taken for granted and our daughters’ sindoor is threatened, our answer will be Operation Sindoo,” the CM declared.
He concluded his address with a rousing “Jai Hind” and “Bharat ki sena zindabad,” pledging Telangana’s full support to ensure national security.
