India growing rapidly: Naidu

Must read

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Monday stated that the entire world is closely observing India’s rapid progress. Sharing his insights from his recent visit to Davos, he noted that global attention, which was once centred on Information Technology (IT), has now completely shifted to Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The Chief Minister firmly believes that India is ahead of many other nations in AI, and the world recognises this fact. Expressing confidence, he asserted that by 2047, India will be a well-developed nation. He emphasised that budgetary allocations are primarily aimed at achieving the goals of ‘Viksit Bharat,’ with top priority given to the development of basic infrastructure.
Highlighting various reforms, he pointed out that significant changes have been made in the tax system, and Andhra Pradesh has emerged as a leader in power sector reforms. He also stressed that the policies adopted for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) would be a game-changer for the entire country.
Chandrababu Naidu expressed optimism that India will soon witness large-scale investments across multiple sectors, as several industrialists are showing keen interest in investing. Alongside launching new policies, he said that equal focus would be placed on developing fundamental infrastructure. Lauding the budgetary proposals presented in Parliament on Saturday, he remarked that the budget is specifically designed to boost the nation’s growth rate. He also pointed out that Indian business tycoons have surpassed their global counterparts in many aspects.
Stressing the importance of inclusive growth, he urged people to reflect on how development can be ensured by electing the right party to power. He also commented on the current challenges faced by the national capital, stating that New Delhi is grappling with both political and environmental pollution. He remarked that the city has lagged in developmental aspects and is presently experiencing a deep crisis.
Confident of the BJP’s victory in the ongoing Delhi Assembly elections, Chandrababu Naidu appealed to voters to elect the BJP to put the capital on a progressive path. “We need leaders who do not loot the country but those who share its wealth with the people,” he stated. Lamenting the state of affairs in Andhra Pradesh, he criticised the previous government’s inefficient policies, which he claimed had severely damaged the state’s progress. He urged the Centre to extend its support to Andhra Pradesh, stating, “If our governance is positive, the Centre will support us, and Andhra Pradesh will rapidly advance on the path of development.”
