Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Sudheer Babu on Friday conducted a review meeting on the security arrangements with the officials of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), Fire, Electricity department and Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) for the upcoming Twenty-20 match between India and Bangladesh to be played on October 12 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Uppal.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudheer Babu said that cricket fans should not face any inconvenience during the match. He said they will take all the security measures for the smooth conduct of the match. It’s a great opportunity to have a cricket match under the Rachakonda Commissionerate. He instructed the officials to have all the arrangements for the cricket fans during the match.
He instructed the officials to look at the parking places for the fans, who come to see the match. He told police officials to clear the traffic on the main roads of the Uppal.
The Commissioner suggested officials to install CCTVs in the vicinity of the stadium. Everyone’s movements will be recorded in the CCTV cameras. Distribution of tickets will be done in full transparency and no rumours should be believed, he added.
HCA president Jagan Mohan Rao said that tickets for India vs Bangladesh T20 match will be available from Saturday from 12:30pm on the Paytm Insider website/App.
The starting price of tickets is Rs 750 and the maximum price is Rs 15,000. Tickets booked online should be redeemed at Gymkhana Stadium from October 8th to 12th October, said the HCA president.
