Indian 3 set for January 2025 release!

The long-awaited sequel Indian 2, directed by S Shankar and starring Kamal Haasan, premiered on July 12, 2024, to much anticipation. Now, fans of the blockbuster franchise have even more reason to celebrate as the release date for the next installment, Indian 3, has been officially announced.
Indian 3 will hit theatres worldwide in January 2025. During the promotional campaign for Indian 2, the filmmakers confirmed that a third part was in the works. In one of his latest interviews, Director S Shankar revealed that, if all goes according to plan, Indian 3 will be released within six months of the sequel.
Excitingly, viewers who stay through the credits of Indian 2 will be treated to a special preview of Indian 3. This exclusive teaser, lasting 2 minutes and 30 seconds, aims to build anticipation for the next chapter of the saga.
As for Indian 2, early reviews on Twitter (now X) present a mixed bag. While many fans have praised the film and Kamal Haasan’s performance, some have expressed disappointment. Reactions vary from blockbuster acclaim to criticisms labeling the film a letdown.
The sequel, produced by Lyca Productions, continues the story of Senapathy, Kamal Haasan’s iconic vigilante character. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, and Kajal Aggarwal in key roles. Following the dramatic conclusion of the first installment, which saw Senapathy promising to return if his country needed him, the saga will indeed continue with Indian 3, as confirmed by the production team.
