Indian Navy organises blood donation camp

As a part of Navy Day Celebrations 2022, the Indian Navy organised a blood donation camp at Naval Station Bheemunipatnam in collaboration with M/s AS Raja Voluntary Blood Bank, Visakhapatnam.

The camp was inaugurated by Surgeon Rear Admiral R Ravi, Command Medical Officer, Eastern Naval Command in the presence of Commodore CS Nayar, Station Commander, Naval Station Bheemunipatnam, and representatives from the Naval Station and the blood bank.

In his inaugural speech, the Admiral conveyed the Indian Navy’s aim towards conducting more such camps to provide medical help to the vast population of the country. As many as 76 volunteers, including ladies, donated blood during the camp. The Indian Navy expressed gratitude to the doctors and staff members of the AS Raja Voluntary Blood Bank for enabling this noble cause.
