Joint Director of the Information Department, Mohammed Murtuza, stated that he successfully completed his responsibilities with the support of both officials and employees. Currently serving as CPRO in the cadre of the Joint Director in GHMC, Mohammed Murtuza retired from service on Saturday. On the occasion, the officials and employees of the Hyderabad State Information Department felicitated him with a grand farewell.
Speaking at the event, Murtuza said that during his 31-year career, he worked in various roles, from Assistant Public Relations Officer to Joint Director, across different districts of the former Andhra Pradesh. He highlighted the importance of teamwork between officials and employees in effectively communicating government schemes to the public.
Additional Director of the State Information Department, DS Jagan praised Murtuza for bringing recognition to the department through his unique work style. He emphasised that Murtuza’s long service to the Information Department is unforgettable, and there is much to learn from him.
Joint Director D Srinivas said that Murtuza’s journey from a humble background to reaching a high position, becoming an inspiration to many. He praised Murtuza for being a mentor to his staff, always standing by them, and treating his employees like family. He also commended Murtuza for maintaining strong relationships with both officials and employees.
