Ire over CM ignoring Malkajgiri in Metro Phase-2 route map

Must read

Citizens are upset with Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy ignoring Malkajgiri in Metro Phase2 route map. They have reminded him that this is the constituency from which he won in Lok Sabha elections after facing a defeat in 2018. Some vent their ire on the social media that Metro connectivity to ECIL has been a long-standing demand.
A Amith Kumar, a resident said, “CM sir, people residing around ECIL areas need Metro. We plead before you to consider Metro line from ECIL TO JBS, please. MLAs should represent in the Assembly, scrapping of Metro from ECIL to JBS. From Rampally area till Kushiguda bus depot and ECIL to Neredmet, there are employees in lakhs who will use Metro for their daily commute.”
A netizen Rajesh Thota said, “Sir, you were representing Malkajgiri parliamentary constituency for the last 4.5 years. We from Hyderabad North are craving for Metro connectivity, but you forgot that now while designing or planning the next Metro phase. How fair is this?”
A Venkat Madala said, “ECIL missing the bus. Its Chief Minister’s parliamentary constituency. No MMTS, No Metro, wait for lifetime.”
Activist Robin Zacheus said, “Agree or not! Malkajgiri residents are treated as 2nd class citizens in our own State. Neither the previous govt nor the present one has shown or showing any interest in development of the largest constituency in India. All we hear is mere words and promises. How long?”
A Venkat said, “The new route map is total negligence of North and North-east of Hyderabad and bad or no support from BJP MPs. North East has been ignored.”
A citizen Santhosh said, “Ecil is missing Revanth Reddy and it is in the parliamentary constituency from which you have won. Every time, ECIL has been left out. No single flyover or underpass in last 9 years and now the Metro is also being left.”
A Karthik Yerram said, “ECIL, Tarnaka, Kushaiguda and Neredmet are not covered. There is no Metro and no MMTS. Revanth Reddy is ex MP for Malkajgiri but still has not concentrated on it.”  Jai Prakash said, “Once again ECIL, Alwal, Bolarum and Kompally have been ignored. Is this some type of anger towards North Hyderabad?”

It may be mentioned here that the route map of Metro Phase 2 covering 70 kms was released by HMRL on Monday and that DPRS will be ready in three months.
