Is Cong brass planning national role for Revanth?

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy once said the party is not playing T-20 matches and so it is not achieving the results that it wanted. However, rumours spread that the Congress high command is going to use Revanth’s services in coming days.
Government Whip Ramachandru Nayak had recently commented that Revanth can function in national politics too. While criticising the BRS, Ramachandru said that Revanth is a seasoned, dynamic politician. He also said that Revanth can be in national politics as he has the ‘age’ advantage compared to other Congress leaders.
Revanth also recently said that he is ready to take the initiative to unite South Indian states to protect the rights of Southern states, particularly regarding the delimitation of constituencies after the 2026 census as the population of South India is less compared to North India.
The Congress is facing defeats one after the other and so the party is revamping its strategies to come out of defeats. As part of it, the Congress high command is going to use the services of Revanth, it is learnt.
However, the Congress high command may use Revanth Reddy’s services in coming days to demand that the Centre conduct caste surveys throughout the nation. It is learnt that the party may assign the job of exerting pressure on the Centre by coordinating with INDIA MPs.
Whether making the demand for a nationwide caste survey along with the population census would yield results or not will be known only later, but the Congress is trying to make it a national demand. The Congress high command is happy with the caste survey in Telangana. Even Rahul Gandhi referred to caste survey results in his speech in the Lok Sabha during the budget session.
It is also learnt that Rahul expressed happiness with Revanth Reddy during their meeting on Saturday in New Delhi for conducting the caste survey successfully. In this background rumours spread that the Congress high command may use the services of Revanth at the national level to tackle the BJP, it is learnt.
