As the clock ticks closer to the release of the highly anticipated film Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, Iswarya Menon, the talented actress known for her dynamic performances, sits down to share insights into her character and her journey in the industry.
In Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, Iswarya steps into the shoes of Indu, a traditional girl with a natural charm and an unwavering dedication to the story’s narrative. Speaking about her character, Iswarya remarks, “Indu is not just your typical heroine. She is a beautician who is deeply involved in the storyline, and her actions are driven by her affection for Venkat, the protagonist.”
Emphasising the film’s raw content and impressive blend of action and emotion, Iswarya expresses her enthusiasm for being part of a project that offers depth and substance.
Transitioning from her previous role in Spy, where she showcased stylish action sequences, Iswarya embraces the opportunity to explore a different facet of acting. The actress explained, “Playing a traditional character allows me to delve into a new dimension of performance. While Spy was modern and action-oriented, Bhaje Vaayu Vegam presents a chance to portray a grounded and emotionally nuanced character.”
Working alongside Kartikeya Gummakonda, the lead actor in the film, Iswarya commends Kartikeya’s commitment to his craft, and his friendly demeanour, creating a positive working environment on set.
Director Prashanth Reddy’s vision for the film has also left a lasting impression on Iswarya. She noted. “Prashanth’s clarity of vision and meticulous approach to storytelling have been instrumental in shaping the narrative of the Bhaje Vaayu Vegam.” Despite not dubbing for her character in the film, Iswarya trusts the director’s judgment and believes in his ability to deliver a compelling cinematic experience. Lastly, reflecting on her journey in the industry, Iswarya acknowledges her humble beginnings and the determination that has propelled her career forward. “From a small town in Tamil Nadu to the glitz and glamour of the film industry, it has been a fulfilling journey. I’m grateful for the recognition I’ve received and remain committed to exploring diverse roles and making meaningful contributions to cinema,” she concluded. This UV Creations’ production, Bhaje Vaayu Vegam, is set to hit theatres on May 31.
