IT corridor police station was inaugurated by Home Minister Mahmood Ali at Pocharam under Rachakonda limits.
At a meeting organised on this occasion, Home Minister Mahmood Ali said that the Telangana Police Department is excelling in maintaining peace. It is stated that the crime rate has reduced due to the CCTV cameras installed across the state in the three commissionerates of the city. He said that more police stations will be set up for public and necessary support to the police department will be provided from the state government.
Telangana State Minister Malla Reddy said that nine new police stations have been set up in Medchal district and crimes have been brought under control. He said that Pocharam IT Corridor is developing rapidly and due to the efforts of the police department.
 Telangana State Director General of Police Anjani Kumar said that the state police is working tirelessly to keep the state of Telangana at a high position in terms of law and order. He said that after the formation of Telangana state, 70 new police stations have been established.
 Rachakonda Commissioner of Police DS Chauhan said that with the Pocharam IT corridor police station being established in Medchal district, the crime rate in this area will decrease. He said that the Pocharam IT corridor is developing rapidly and world class corporate companies are functioning here. The Commissioner stated that necessary measures are being taken to maintain peace and security in the Rachakonda Commissionerate.
