“It is a cakewalk for the Bhrara Rashtra Samithi (BRS),” said Minister for Energy G Jagadish Reddy on Sunday. He expressed confidence that the voters decided to vote for the BRS in the next elections.
The Minister visited the 16th ward in Suryapet and interacted with people. He inspected the ongoing developmental works in the town. The citizens in the area assembled in large numbers to interact with him.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagadish Reddy said that the government for the first time had released Rs 1,390 crore for the developmental works in the first phase and Rs 30 crore in the second phase. Several developmental works were completed and town beautification projects were progressing smoothly, he said. The Minister was accompanied by Municipal Chairman Permandla Annapurna, vice-chairman Putta Kishore, Grandhalaya Samsta chairman Nimmal Srinivas Gound and councillors.
Jagadish said that the BRS would come to power once again in the State. The people decided to vote for the BRS to ensure the continuation of welfare schemes. The people had realised that the Congress and BJP opposed the welfare schemes. Apart from scoring a hattrick in the State, the BRS party under the leadership of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao would play a crucial role in national politics, the Minister asserted.
