Must read

Chief Minister and YSR Congress president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy continued the ongoing reshuffling and selection process of party candidates for Assembly and Parliament segments, engaging in discussions with various leaders and top officials on Tuesday. The analysis and scrutiny of potential candidates are expected to be completed by the end of the day or Wednesday, paving the way for the release of the third list.
On Tuesday, CM Jagan Reddy held discussions with MP Kuruva Gorantla Madhav, who visited the CM camp office after being summoned. According to reliable sources, the discussions delved into the current conditions and sequences related to the Hindupur Parliament segment, with Jagan Reddy explaining the reasons for the denial of tickets.
Following the meeting, MP Madhav stated that the Hindupur MP ticket would not be offered to him. He conveyed his request to CM Jagan for a ticket in any Assembly segment, expressing optimism about getting an opportunity through an alternative process.

Political dynamics in the Penamaluru segment intensified as YSRC’s present MLA Kolusu Parthsarathy remained discontented with the party. TD MLA Velgapudi Ramakrishna, along with other leaders, approached Parthasarathy’s office, offering a TD ticket for the 2024 elections from either Penamaluru or Nuzvid. Meanwhile, former minister YSRC MLA Vellampalli Srinivas, accompanied by MLA Dr. M Jaganmohan Rao, attempted to reconcile with Parthasarathy.

In Vijayawada Central, YSRC MLA Malladi Vishnu, who was denied a ticket, contemplated resigning. MP and YSRC regional coordinator Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy engaged in talks with Vishnu, and later, Rami Reddy, along with former minister Vellampalli Srinivas, brought Vishnu to the Camp Office. CM Jagan Reddy held discussions with them to address misunderstandings and coordinate efforts for the upcoming elections. Sources suggest that CM Jagan presented an alternative proposal to Vishnu in response to the MLA ticket denial.

Notably, Singanamala YSRC MLA Jonnalagadda Padmavathi, who previously expressed dissent against CM Jagan, visited the camp office to clarify her comments. She explained that her contact with the CMO was primarily related to minor issues, particularly concerning water problems. MLA Padmavathi emphasized her commitment to Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRC, refuting claims of rebellion. She expressed readiness to comply with CM Jagan’s directives, including accepting the denial of the ticket.

Amid conflicts in various crucial segments, reliable sources suggest that the third list is expected to be unveiled Wednesday or the day after. Additionally, Jagan Reddy is working on appointing coordinators for MP segments based on various considerations, with the reshuffling process anticipated to conclude by the Sankranti festival.
