‘Jagan misusing power to market himself’

TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday slammed CM Jagan Mohan Reddy for deceiving people through his Land Grabbing Act. Addressing the people in his ‘Praja Galam’ meeting in Rayachoti, Nara Chandrababu Naidu cautioned the people of Andhra Pradesh to be vigilant of the act. “If the Act is passed, the land will no longer belong to you, instead you’ll receive only Xerox copies, but don’t worry once we’re in power again, we’ll remove those duplicates and will return your rightful properties,” affirmed the TDP chief. Further, Naidu highlighted the fact that Jagan has been misusing his power to market himself just before the elections, by printing his picture on the land passbooks. “Kiran Kumar was a chief minister, and I too was the chief minister before him. Did either of us print our photos on the land documents?” he asked. Naidu lambasted AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy for disregarding his own district. He highlighted the fact that despite the area being prone to droughts, CM Jagan ignored it.

Furthermore, highlighting the prevalent irregularities in the Aarogyasri Scheme, the TDP Chief vowed to provide health insurance of Rs 25 lakhs yearly for every family in the state. He also assured of reinstating the Chandranna Bima Scheme and distributing free medicines for people who have BP and diabetes. In addition to this, he also promised to provide Rs 6,000 monthly pension for the disabled and Rs 15,000 for fully disabled people. Furthermore, he also vowed to ban all toxic liquor brands in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
