Jagan to attend semi-Xmas celebrations on December 19

State-level semi-Christmas celebrations will be conducted at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Corporation (IGMC) Stadium in Vijayawada on December 19. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will attend the celebrations and participate in the Christmas cake-cutting.
NTR District Collector Dr S Dilli Rao conducted a preparatory meeting with the Minorities Commission, AP Christian (Minority) Finance Corporation, RCM, CSI, Baptists, Bishop Luthorous, Salvation Army, Andhra Invanjikal Luthorous and heads of other religious organisations at the collector’s camp office in Vijayawada on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that CM Jagan Mohan Reddy would participate in semi-Christmas prayers on December 19. The officials were asked to take necessary steps to accommodate a large number of people. Also, he asked the Christian priests to convey this information in coming Sunday prayers.
Besides Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, ministers, MPs, MLCs, MLAs and other people’s representatives will attend the semi-Christmas celebrations. The officials concerned should make protocol arrangements, he added.
Protocol Director Subrahmanya Reddy, Joint Collector Dr P Sampath Kumar, Sub Collector Aditi Singh, CM Chief Security Officer A Joshi, DRO S Nageswara Rao, YSRCP leader Devineni Avinash, and others were present.
