Jagan to meet PM Modi today CM’s Delhi visit, a day after Chandrababu met BJP leaders, has gained importance

Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy left for New Delhi from Gannavaram airport in Vijayawada at 5 pm on Thursday. He will stay overnight at 1, Janpath residence in the national capital. As per the official schedule, CM Jagan will call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday. During the meeting, he will discuss various issues relating to the State such as pending Polavaram funds and the granting of special status to the State.
CM Jagan’s visit to Delhi gained importance among the political circles in Andhra Pradesh as Leader of the Opposition Chandrababu visited Delhi and met the BJP top leaders including Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP president JP Nadda late on Wednesday. However, there
is no clarity on the reason behind his visit. Sources say that the alliance between TDP-JSP and BJP is almost finalised and after discussing the matter with the Telugu Desam senior leaders and the alliance partner Jena Sena, they would break the silence. Meanwhile, there are rumours going the other way round on Chandrababu’s visit to Delhi.
Chief Minister Jagan’s visit to Delhi to meet the Prime Minister a day after the TDP chief met the BJP leaders has gained importance. However, YSRCP leaders say that Jagan would meet PM Modi and others to discuss various issues  related to the State’s development
and funds for projects .
