Jakkampudi Village Secretariat gets new computers, furniture

The Grama/Ward Secretariat Department has supplied two computers, a printer, and additional furniture to the Jakkampudi-1 Village Secretariat in Vijayawada Rural mandal in the NTR district. This assistance comes in the wake of severe flooding that affected Budameru on September 1 of the previous year, which resulted in significant damage to computers, printers, electronic devices, and furniture.
The floodwaters from Budameru infiltrated the Jakkampudi-1 Village Secretariat, causing destruction to tables, chairs, computers, printers, and other electronic equipment. This loss hindered the provision of essential civic services on a daily basis. Consequently, the staff had been unable to deliver services to the public for the past six months.
In response to this situation, the Vijayawada Rural Mandal Parishad Development Officer (MPDO) informed the Director of the Grama/Ward Secretariat Department, M Sivaprasad, about the issue. In turn, he facilitated the provision of two computers, a printer, and other electronic appliances to the Jakkampudi-1 Grama Secretariat.
Additionally, the in-charge MPDO, P Muralikrishna Prasad, also took the initiative to source tables and other furniture from the Gollapudi and Prasadampade Secretariats.
Furthermore, MPDO Muralikrishna Prasad conducted an inspection of the newly installed computers, printers, electronic devices, and furniture.
The staff at the Jakkampudi Grama Secretariat expressed their gratitude to him, stating that they will now be able to provide various services to the public in a timely manner.
