Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan has reiterated his commitment to politics driven by the State’s progress, emphasising that personal gains hold no importance for him.
Pawan Kalyan took part in a roadshow along with JSP Assembly candidate Konatala Ramakrishna, BJP Lok Sabha candidate CM Ramesh, MLC Budda Naga Jagadeeshwar Rao, and former minister Dadi Veerabhadra Rao here on Sunday.
Addressing the sizable crowd, Pawan Kalyan launched a vigorous tirade against Jagan Mohan Reddy, alleging that his administration had allowed the proliferation of drugs in Andhra Pradesh. He pointed out the alarming influx of 25,000 kg of drugs into Visakhapatnam and questioned whether such a significant issue could occur without the knowledge of ruling party leaders.
Highlighting the imperative need for a drug-free and prosperous future for the State, Pawan Kalyan emphasised the necessity of defeating the YSRCP. He underscored efforts to ensure unity among anti-YSRCP voters.
Pawan Kalyan reiterated that the primary objective remains the defeat of the YSRCP. Despite JSP’s capability to contest in 50 Assembly seats, he expressed contentment with the allocation of 21 Assembly seats and two Parliament seats. He referenced the decision to withdraw the JSP candidate from the Anakapalli Lok Sabha seat in favour of the BJP’s CM Ramesh.
Assuring resolution to the CPS issue of employees and commitment to justice if elected, Pawan Kalyan reflected on his ten-year journey leading the party amidst electoral challenges. He urged TDP, JSP, and BJP activists to unite and strive for victory, emphasising the necessity of removing the disruptive influence of the YSRCP.
