Jana Sena chief K Pawan Kalyan has likened the Opposition’s fight against the AP government to the epic Kurukshetra battle and declared the YSRCP’s decline has begun. Addressing a massive gathering during his ‘Varahi Vijaya Yatra’ in Avanigadda on Sunday, Pawan Kalyan asserted that in the upcoming election, they represent the ‘Pandavas’ while branding the YSRCP leaders as the ‘Kouravas’ in this political ‘Kurukshetra.’

He went on to predict that the YSRCP would likely secure only 15 MLA seats in the next election. He reminded the crowd that, in the previous election, they had put their trust in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and the YSRCP, highlighting the current state of affairs in the state. Despite his defeat in the last election, Pawan Kalyan emphasized his continued presence and commitment to the people.

“Jana Sena can go ahead with an alliance with BJP alliance. But I do not know whether we can get the required number of seats to form a government. In order to protect the interests of the State. It would take a decade to rectify the damage caused by the YSRCP regime and steer Andhra Pradesh in the right direction.”

Warning the public, Pawan Kalyan cautioned that voting the YSRCP o power in the 2024 election would lead to an unfavourable future. He criticised Jagan Mohan Reddy’s suitability for the Chief Minister position, describing him as solely driven by amassing wealth. For the betterment of Andhra Pradesh and its citizens’ prospects, he urged voters to support the TDP-JSP alliance in the upcoming election.

While Pawan Kalyan asserted that he had no personal aspirations for the Chief Minister post, he remained open to the possibility if circumstances allowed.

Pawan Kalyan demanded that the government, headed by Jagan Mohan Reddy, release a ‘white paper’ on the tragic deaths of over 67,000 children. He pointed out that a ‘Gross Enrollment Ratio’ survey conducted by the government indicated that 3,17,259 families had migrated from Andhra Pradesh in search of livelihood.

Assuring the public, Pawan Kalyan pledged to address all their concerns if given the opportunity in the next elections, emphasising his commitment to resolving their problems.

He also highlighted the government’s failure to issue the DSC notification since 2018 and promised to rectify this issue if elected to power. Pawan Kalyan criticized the YSRCP for appointing officials from a specific caste to key positions.

Regarding Jagan Mohan Reddy’s slogan of ‘why not 175 seats in the next elections,’ Pawan Kalyan drew a historical parallel to emphasise that overconfidence can lead to unforeseen outcomes. He recalled how Hitler continued to claim victory until Russian soldiers entered the German camp.

Commenting on Naidu’s arrest, Pawan Kalyan said that he differed with Naidu only on some policy matters including the land issue for the capital city. “I hope that Naidu will come out of all cases,” he added.
