Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, a senior leader from the erstwhile Nalgonda district, has been suspended by the BJP State leadership.
The party suspended him for violating the rules.
Jitta, who was in the BJP for a long time, had not been active for a few days. Moreover, he said on Tuesday that he was emotionally distant from the lotus party.
He said that he had received an invitation from the Congress.
He said that he would discuss the issue with his followers and take a decision.
He expressed his concern that he was only an activist in the BJP and that group politics had become too much here.
