A 25-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping into an agricultural well as he was upset over not finding a job.
He was identified as Upender Reddy and he belonged to Vithalapur village under Chinnakodur mandal.
According to his relatives, Upender Reddy used to feel frustrated as he did not get placement while his peers were gainfully employed. He did not succeed though he too like his friends pursued higher education.
Against this backdrop, he jumped into the agricultural well belonging to his uncle Tirupati Reddy and committed suicide.
The clothes of Upender Reddy were found near the agriculture well. The information was passed on to the family members.
Koduru sub-inspector Subhash Goud visited the crime scene and registered a case.
A pall of gloom descended on the village following the death of Upender Reddy.
