Judicial panel submits report on SC categorisation

Retired High Court Judge Shameem Akthar handed over the report of the One-Man Judicial Commission to the Cabinet Sub-Committee on SC Categorisation’s Chairman N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, co-chairman Damodara Raja Narasimha and member Ponnam Prabhakar on Monday at the Secretariat.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee will make recommendations to the Cabinet based on Justice Shameem Akthar’s report. The Cabinet will meet on Tuesday to take a final decision on SC categorisation. There is a chance that the government will table the report on SC Categorisation in the Assembly for discussion.
The Cabinet Sub-Committee had a meeting in the evening and discussed the report submitted by the One-man Judicial Commission, Shammem Akthar.
