Must read

The boycotting of Outpatient Department (OPD) and elective OT services by the Telangana Junior Doctors Association (TJUDA) reached eighth day on Wednesday.
The association leaders have met Union Minister Kishan Reddy to submit their representation detailing their problems. The members have also met Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha and submitted a petition specifically requesting the introduction of security arrangements with the State Police Force (SPF) in all government hospitals and medical colleges as stipulated in GO No. 103.
The Junior doctors have received information that the Health Ministry is updating the GO 103 with latest requirements of the junior doctors.
Speaking to The Pioneer, Dr More Vamshi Krishna, President of TJUDA (Gandhi Hospital), said, “As of latest update, they are working on amending GO 103 to the present requirement. We are waiting for what the CBI has to say in its report to the Supreme Court. Based on that, we will decide tomorrow whether to continue the protests or not.”
Nearly 1,000 junior doctors are on the protest and boycotting the duties in Gandhi Hospital, Osmania General Hospital and Nizam’s Institute of Medical Science (NIMS).
