In continuation of the black badges protests, junior doctors from across the State protested near hospitals wearing black dresses, calling for their demands to be fulfilled by the government. The doctors set a deadline of June 24, stating that they will go on an indefinite strike if their demands are not met. The demands the doctors are calling for is a green channel for the timely release of stipends; Proper honorarium for super-specialty senior residents; Removal of reservation of 15% seats for AP students in Telangana security improvements in various government hospitals along with adequate hostel facilities in various government hospitals. A new building for Osmania General Hospital (OGH), proper infrastructure in government medical colleges along with improvement of roads in Kakatiya Medical College, were also among their demands. The doctors stated that the demands they put forward are very important to improve their working conditions and the entire healthcare system.
