Jupally showcases State in Bangkok ‘TG tourist spots can shine globally’

Minister of Tourism and Culture Jupalli Krishna Rao said that Telangana tourism sector will be introduced to the world in a new way. “We will make it a sightseeing destination during the QSNCC Pacific Asia Travel Association Travel Mart – PATA Travel Mart (PTM) held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre in Bangkok, the capital of Thailand on Wednesday. In all, 900 representatives from 45 countries attended it and five states from India along with Telangana took part in it.”
Minister Jupally inaugurated the stall specially set up by the Telangana Transport department in the travel mart. The Telangana Tourism department has set up a special stall with the intention of introducing various historical and heritage buildings, tourist places to the international community. Photographs of Budhavanam in Nagarjuna Sagar, Charminar in Hyderabad and Lucknow Cable Bridge in Mulugu district are being exhibited to attract international tourists.
The Minister met India’s Ambassador to Thailand Nagesh Singh, Thailand Tourism Department Executive Director Malini Nitiksetsanthon, India Chapter- PATA Executive Director Ranif Sansha and representatives of various countries.
He said that Telangana has more types of tourism, cultural, historical, spiritual, environmental and suitable sectors than any other country in the world, and through this travel mart, there is an opportunity to inform the world about the beauty of Telangana tourism.
According to the ideas of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Telangana is moving ahead with the creation of world-class infrastructure to further develop tourism as a solid centre of history, culture and heritage. In the Telangana government’s new tourism policy, priority will be given to such things.
Lifestyle connected with nature is a positive factor for tourism development and reflects the idea of living in harmony with nature. “You all come to Telangana to see Telangana’s UNESCO recognised Ramappa temple, Golconda Fort, Warangal Fort, Kakatiya Thoranam, Charminar, Qutub Shahi Tombs, Asia’s largest Buddhism Project Buddhavanam, Thousand Pillar temple and World’s Best Tourist Village Pochampally”, he added.
The Pacific Asia Travel Association conducts the Travel Mart with the aim of promoting tourism in the Asia-Pacific region, discussing cooperation between Pacific countries, and providing better infrastructure, thereby attracting tourists and creating mutual benefit. This program will be held from August 27 to 29.
