Just 1 per cent of KTR, Kavitha income enough to help farmers: Sanjay

Must read

The BJP’s Telangana Chief, Sanjay, said that if IT Minister KT Ramarao and BRS MLC Kavitha spent even one per cent of their earnings, farmers would have got help.

He said that half the farmers would not have been affected by the unseasonal rains if the government had opened paddy procurement centres in time.

He asked KCR to explain what happened to the Rs 3000 crore allotted to Telangana by the Centre to tackle calamities and asked the government to pay Rs 20,000 per acre to all affected farmers as compensation.

Sanjay made it clear that the BJP will launch a protest until the government pays ex-gratia to all affected farmers.

He said the situation would not have deteriorated like this if the Telangana government had implemented the Centre’s Fasal Bima Yojana. He asked KCR whether farmers have to beg every time like beggars for compensation.

Speaking to the media after visiting farmers affected by the unseasonal rains in Karimnagar and Choppadandi Assembly constituencies on Monday, Sanjay asked KCR to reveal why the government did not pay ex-gratia although the CM had assured that it will be paid within a week.

He said that KCR’s assurances are just words and asked KCR to explain whether his government had helped even a single farmer who had lost his crop in the last eight years.

Sanjay gave a call to make the April 25 Palamuru Nirudyoga Sabha a big success. He asked all unemployed youth and students to attend the Palamuru Nirudyoga March on April 25.

He said that the BJP is fighting for the future of 30 lakh unemployed youth and made it clear that the BJP will not give up till the government orders a probe by an HC Judge into the TSPSC leak, dismisses IT Minister KT Ramarao and pays a compensation of Rs 1 lakh each to all the unemployed.

Participating in a teleconference with erstwhile Palamuru district polling booth presidents on Monday, Sanjay asked them to gather BJP activists, unemployed youth and students for the Palamuru Nirudyoga March being held at the Palamuru district headquarters.

He asked polling booth presidents to use the media to make Palamuru Nirudyoga March a big success.
