Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose, heading the inquiry commission looking into the execution of the Kaleshwaram Project during the BRS administration, arrived in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The commission will commence formal proceedings on Thursday, as a week of crucial cross-examinations is lined up.

Sources said the commission has scheduled the cross-examinations of prominent political figures. BJP MLA Eatela Rajender will appear before the commission on Friday, followed by BRS MLA Harish Rao on Monday. Former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is slated to appear on Wednesday.

The depositions are expected to shed light on the critical decisions taken during the BRS government, particularly concerning large-scale projects and administrative practices.

As all three leaders had important roles during the BRS government, their statements are likely to be closely watched by political observers and the public alike.
