Kakani demands probe into ghee row

YSRCP senior leader and former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy has made it clear that no irregularities occurred in the preparation of the Laddu Prasadam at Tirumala and described the accusations of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu as political conspiracy.
Speaking to the media in Nellore on Monday, the former minister emphasized that Chandrababu is using these allegations to divert attention from the failures of his government and demanded an inquiry to uncover the truth.
Kakani Govrdhan Reddy further highlighted that the ghee used in TTD Laddu preparation undergoes rigorous tests before being accepted. He shared details about the transparent procurement process in place since 2014 and mentioned that, in July, four tankers of substandard ghee were returned.
“Despite this, Chief Minister Chandrababu falsely claimed that the returned ghee was used in the Prasadam. Chandrababu Naidu should provide evidence for his accusations,” the former Minister demanded and sarcastically questioned whether Pawan Kalyan was fasting
as a form of penance for supporting Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP.
