HYDERABAD: Amid growing speculation over the internal discord in the BRS, former minister Ch. Mallareddy struck a confident note on Thursday, stating that KCR will face the Kaleshwaram Commission of Inquiry without hesitation and will emerge unblemished. “He did nothing wrong. KCR will go and answer every question. He will return like a washed pearl,” he said, dismissing the allegations directed at the former Chief Minister. Responding to MLC Kavitha’s comments hinting at betrayal and internal sabotage, Mallareddy categorically said that she will not leave the party.
“Kavitha is very much in the BRS and will remain with KCR,” he said. BRS leader Vinod Kumar also weighed in on the issue, calling political upheavals a common phenomenon in all parties. He said he only came to know of Kavitha’s statements through the media and promised to speak to her soon. “If there was any intention to work with the BJP, there would have been an alliance,” he clarified.
