‘Kavitha going to turn approver’

The Congress’s Mahbubnagar MLA, Yennam Srinivas Reddy, said that BRS MLC Kavitha who is now in Tihar Jail is going to turn approver. Speaking to the media at the Gandhi Bhavan on Saturday, he said that BRS MLAs T. Harish Rao and KT Rama Rao are trying to convince Kavitha regarding this. He said that former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been putting on a brave face and that it was KCR who first sought a judicial inquiry. However, the same KCR is now trying to escape from the inquiry, he said. Srinivas said that leaders like former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao faced inquiries over minor things. “Compared to that who is KCR? He can’t escape,” he added. He said that no one is going to KCR’s farmhouse even though KCR is inviting them. All BRS MLAs are going to New Delhi, he pointed out. Srinivas ridiculed that only both the brothers-in-law will come to the Assembly on behalf of the BRS. He said that KCR bankrupted the state by contracting debts of Rs 7 lakh crore and endangered the future of Telangana. Srinivas said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is trying to pay salaries to government employees in time by clearing the debts. He said that KCR gave Rythu Bandhu funds for 42 lakh acres of ineligible lands. However, Revanth is giving sops only for actual land cultivated. He said that KCR grabbed thousands of acres using the Dharani Portal and that he has no guts to face Prime Minister Modi and insulted the PM without going to receive him when he came to Hyderabad. He said that Revanth Reddy sought funds for the state when he met Modi. It is better for KCR to behave constructively as the opposition leader, Srinivas said.
