The BJP launched a scathing attack on TRS MLC Kavitha on Friday as her name was mentioned in the remand report of the Enforcement Directorate (ED).BJP leaders said that Kavitha has invested thousands of crores in the liquor business. The BJP accused Kavitha of making a person who listens to her the Excise Minister of Telangana.
BJP state president Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the belt shops in Telangana are actually Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s shops.He said that KCR’s daughter Kavitha had invested in the Delhi liquor business and is earning thousands of crores illegally. Kavitha has also invested in casinos, Sanjay said.
Participating in a Rachabanda programme at Nandan Thanda in Mudhol in Nirmal district on Friday, Sanjay asked KCR to explain how farmers are getting debt-ridden ones while KCR had become a crorepati by farming in his farmhouse.
Sanjay said that KCR had introduced the Dharani Portal to grab lands around Hyderabad city and that farmers have been suffering severe injustice due to errors in the Dharani Portal. He said that cheques given to Punjab farmers by KCR have become invalid.
Telangana BJP vice-president NVSS Prabhakar said the TRS government had appointed a person as excise Minister who functions as per Kavitha’s directions.
