Kavitha likens Revanth to ‘China phone’ and KCR to ‘IPhone’

Must read

BRS MLC Kavitha likened Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s governance to a “China phone, demands ‘Secret Pact’ praising KCR’s administration as an “iPhone” in terms of reliability and efficiency.
Speaking at a media interaction, she accused the Congress of betraying the Backward Classes (BC) community and manipulating caste census data for political gains.
MLC Kavitha asserted that the Congress had failed to engage with BC associations despite rising concerns.
“The Chief Minister is avoiding meeting with BC leaders, which is an insult to the community,” she said. She reiterated BRS’s demand for a genuine caste-wise census and called for 42% reservation for BCs in local body elections.
“The so-called OBC caste census by the Congress is full of discrepancies and lacks credibility. If they are serious about BC welfare, they must conduct a fresh, transparent survey and introduce a bill in the Assembly. BRS will support it unequivocally,” she stated.
Turning to the ongoing water crisis, the former Nizamabad MP slammed the government for failing to release water from the Medigadda Barrage. “Farmers are suffering, crops are drying up, yet the government remains indifferent,” she said, demanding immediate intervention.
Confident in KCR’s leadership, MLC Kavitha declared, “KCR 3.0 and BRS 3.0 will rise stronger for the people of Telangana.” She assured that BRS would continue to fight for justice for BCs and the welfare of farmers across the state.
