‘Kavitha using BCs to regain ground she lost via liquor biz’

BRS MLC Kavitha is using BCs to clear the blot that she had acquired through involvement in the Delhi illegal liquor business, TPCC chief B. Mahesh Kumar Goud said.
Mahesh said that Kavitha had raised the curtains to her new deceptive drama in the name of BCs to regain the ground she lost in the BRS and as part of it she is conducting a dharna at Indira Park on Friday.
Addressing the media at the Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday, Mahesh said the BRS is remembering BCs only after losing power. The BRS is the party that cut the throats of BCs in local body elections, he said.
He said the Congress is giving top priority to BCs and the best example of that is making him the TPCC President. The Congress also gave top priority to BCs in its Cabinet. Everybody knows how much importance the BRS gave to BCs in its Cabinet, he pointed out.
He said the BRS suppressed the BCs and is now chanting BC slogans. This is nothing but the devil quoting scripture, he added.
He asked Kavitha to explain whether she is staging a dharna as the Congress government is going to field 23,973 candidates to contest to panchayats and municipalities.
“Is Kavitha staging the dharma as the Congress government is for setting up 10 welfare boards? Is Kavitha conducting dharnas as the Congress government increased BCs’ diet charges in residential schools? Is Kavitha staging a dharna for constructing new Young India Integrated Schools?” he asked. Kavitha should first reveal why she is staging her dharna, Mahesh said.
